Le Pain Quotidien (“The Daily Bread”) was born in Brussels in 1990! 🇧🇪

Frustrated by bad bread, chef Alain Coumont started baking his own rustic sourdough with just flour, water, and salt.

To save money on furniture, he bought a giant wooden table at a local flea market. This became their famous communal table, where cozy vibes and passing the jam jars bring strangers together.

Today, it is a global favorite for slow mornings, organic coffee in handleless bowls, and fresh avocado toast!

Breakfast/Brunch Options:

  • Signature Bakers Basket: A curated selection of fresh organic breads and artisanal pastries, served with their world-famous, self-serve hazelnut praline spread (Brunette), blonde spread, and organic jams.
  • Soft-Boiled Eggs: A classic Belgian tradition served in ceramic cups with organic bread “soldiers” (strips of bread) for dipping.
  • Elevated Egg Classics: Highlights include the Frittata with Roasted Vegetables, Smoked Salmon Omelette, and the Baked Eggs Benedict served on a rich, flaky croissant roll.
  • Warm Organic Oats & Porridge: Slow-cooked steel-cut oats topped with seasonal berries, honey, and toasted seeds.
