El Bagel

El Bagel started as a viral pop-up delivering out of a car and a food truck in Wynwood. Owner Matteson Koche perfected his recipe and generated massive word-of-mouth buzz, leading to lines around the block and daily sellouts. They now operate permanent locations on Biscayne Boulevard and in Coconut Grove. it combines slow-fermented, NY-style bagels with vibrant Miami flavors, serving them through casual walk-up windows.

El Bagel is famous for its hand-rolled, fresh-baked New York-style bagels characterized by a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy inside. Their signature and cult-favorite bagel sandwiches feature bold, Miami-inspired flavor combinations:

Classic Pastrami: 18-hour smoked pastrami with Swiss cheese, housemade coleslaw, and Thousand Island dressing.

King Guava: A cult-favorite featuring guava marmalade, plain cream cheese, potato stix (papitas), and a local fried egg, typically served on a poppy seed bagel.

The B.E.C. (Bacon, Egg & Cheese): The classic, made with thick-cut bacon, egg, and cheese.

Lox Supreme: A fresh spin featuring locally-smoked lox, english cucumber, dill, pickled onion, tomato, capers, and cream cheese.

EB Original: Thick-cut bacon paired with scallion cream cheese and roasted jalapeños.
