SPRINHAUS began as a friendship between three architects: Alexandra Stelling, Maria Fernanda Polanco, and Ana Carolina Ravell, and grew into a shared vision for living beautifully, entertaining joyfully, and curating with purpose. The name tells their story: “S” for Stelling, “P” for Polanco, “R” for Ravell—together “In Haus.” More than a boutique, SPRINHAUS reflects who they are: friends, designers, and storytellers who believe every object has the power to spark connection.
Inside, visitors discover a mix of vintage furniture, artisan-made accents, and playful entertaining pieces from around the globe. The collections blend past and present, celebrating the joy of design, art, and gathering. “Soul by SPRINHAUS,” their special vintage line, embodies a love for history, discovery, and the rituals of entertaining. More than a store, it’s a space where community and creativity meet. SPRINHAUS has a truly distinct look and feel.

SPRINHAUS is a curated blend of past and present, where vintage treasures meet playful, contemporary design. It’s soulful yet unexpected, mixing design, art, and entertaining pieces that feel both timeless and fresh. Every corner tells a story, sparking curiosity and delight.

We chose the Grove because of its creative soul. It is rich in history, community, and artistic energy, it’s a place where individuality is celebrated. Our vision aligns perfectly: a destination that feels local yet globally inspired, where design and creativity bring people together.
The shop is filled with unique treasures. How do you decide what earns a place on your shelves?
We follow instinct and emotion. If a piece makes us pause, smile, or imagine a story, it belongs at SPRINHAUS. Each item must be functional and beautiful, balancing craftsmanship with personality. We curate with soul, so our shelves reflect a collection that feels intentional and surprising.

Every business has its favorite behind-the-scenes stories. What’s one of yours?
One of the funniest moments is when we’re in the back carrying heavy boxes and the doorbell rings. Suddenly we rush to the front, smiling and greeting customers as if we hadn’t just been sweating in the stockroom. The truth is, we do it all ourselves, from curating and designing products to hauling boxes and handling marketing. SPRINHAUS is truly homemade, and that’s part of what makes it so special.
If SPRINHAUS were a guest at a dinner party, how would you describe its personality?
SPRINHAUS would be the charismatic guest who brings a thoughtful bottle of wine in a vintage decanter, tells stories that make everyone laugh, and effortlessly makes the room feel alive. Stylish but approachable, bold yet warm, always sparking conversation.
How has working with the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District supported your business?
The BID has been a true partner, helping us connect with the community and spotlight our story. From features and events to providing a platform for visibility, their support strengthens the bond between small businesses and the neighborhood.
Looking ahead, what exciting plans do you have for SPRINHAUS?
We’re planning more in-store experiences, pop-ups, artist collaborations, and cultural events. Long-term, we see SPRINHAUS as a lifestyle brand that goes beyond the walls of the store, becoming a touchpoint for design, entertaining, and soulful living.
What’s one thing you’d like every visitor to remember about SPRINHAUS after they leave?
That it’s more than shopping, it’s discovery. SPRINHAUS is about finding pieces that speak to you, that make your home and gatherings more joyful and expressive.
Lastly, what’s your biggest passion outside the store?
Family, friendship, and entertaining. We love hosting, sharing meals, laughter, and music around a table. It’s at the heart of everything we do, and it fuels the way we think about SPRINHAUS a place to gather, connect, and create lasting moments.
