Caplow Manzano is an architecture and construction firm based in Miami, FL dedicated to improving resiliency in the built environment. The group designed and built CM1, the first WELL-certified residence in the world, applying notable innovations such as the elimination of gypsum sheetrock and cavity walls to create a mold-resistant and ultra-durable home despite the challenges of a wet climate. Caplow Manzano’s homes are elevated for a minimum of 100 years of projected sea level rise, and feature high-efficiency thermal envelopes and rooftop solar power.
