Big Woof Festival in Coconut Grove Unites Pups and Community

Coconut Grove is about to go to the dogs—in the best way possible. On January 17–18, 2026, Regatta Park will transform into a pup paradise as The Big Woof Festival makes its debut. Miami’s first large-scale dog festival will bring together thousands of pet lovers for a weekend filled with canine competitions, adoption initiatives, family activities, and dog-friendly fun.

Highlights of the festival include world-famous Disc-Connected K9s frisbee shows, corgi and dachshund races, and the PAWS4you Adoption Village, where visitors can meet dogs searching for forever homes. A Pet Wellness Stage will feature talks, contests, and DJ-led entertainment, while the Pet-Friendly Marketplace will showcase treats, gear, and gifts. For younger visitors, a dedicated Kids Zone ensures fun for the whole family.

Beyond entertainment, The Big Woof Festival carries a bigger mission: promoting adoption and supporting local rescues. A portion of proceeds will benefit PAWS4you Rescue, which has worked tirelessly to save dogs from euthanasia and place them in loving homes.

“This event not only celebrates the bond between people and their dogs, but it also shines a spotlight on the lifesaving work we do every day,” said Carol Caridad, Founder of PAWS4you Rescue.

Coconut Grove, long known as one of Miami’s most pet-friendly neighborhoods, offers the perfect backdrop. “The Big Woof Festival is a perfect fit for Coconut Grove,” said Mark Burns, Executive Director of the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District. “It celebrates community, creativity, and connection—all values that define the Grove.”
