They’re the friendly faces in bright uniforms you’ll see walking or cruising through Coconut Grove’s streets — the Block-by-Block Ambassadors, a dedicated team working every day to make the Grove cleaner, safer, and more welcoming for everyone.

Serving as the “eyes and ears” of the Grove since 2011, our team of eight Ambassadors works tirelessly seven days a week their comprehensive services include providing directions to shops, restaurants, and attractions, offering tips about parking and events, and helping visitors discover hidden gems throughout the district. Their warm greetings and helpful guidance reflect the Grove’s reputation for genuine hospitality.
Equally important, the Ambassadors help maintain public spaces and support safety efforts. In addition to reporting maintenance issues and keep sidewalks, benches, and planters looking pristine, they remove litter, gum spots, and graffiti, and conduct weed abatement. They also assist with crowd management and cleanup during major events like art festivals, holiday markets, and community gatherings.
Working closely with the Coconut Grove BID and the City of Miami Police Department, the Block-by-Block team ensures that the Grove remains one of Miami’s most inviting neighborhoods — a place where residents, visitors, and businesses alike can enjoy a clean, secure, and vibrant environment every day.
